1. Adolph och Dorothea came to US from Sweden in 1869 and settled in Kansas.
2.Adolph worked for the railroad on a section gang.
3.Adolph was sent to Prescott WA in 1881 as the section boss for the railway.
4.The first year in Prescott, Adolph and Dorothea lived in a converted boxcar, which was parked on a siding near the center of Prescott.
5.Edith Lucile (Andersson) Brandt was the first white child born within the incorporated limits of Prescott in 1882.
6.Adolph and family homesteaded about a mile north of Prescott.
7.Their son Harry Andersson eventually became owner of the ranch, purchasing it from his parents.
